Milton man faces child pornography charges

Florida state police have arrested a 40-year-old Milton man on charges that he solicited some from someone whom he believed to be a 13-year-old girl.

Using the screename "flafirefighter6843", investigators say William Kenneth Adkins, a civilian firefighter working at the Whiting Field Naval Air Station, chatted for weeks with an undercover officer posing as a 13-year-old in a chat room.

During conversations with the "girl", Adkins reportedly e-mailed her a child porno clip and asked her to engage in sexual activity with him. He also allegedly stated that he previously just had sex with a 16-year-old girl and indicated to her that he was going to do it again.

Concerned, police quickly arrested Adkins and charged him with promoting the sexual performance of a child and possession of child pornography.

Adkins MySpace profile below is somewhat disturbing with numerous younger aged girl on his profile.
