Man arranged a meeting via the Internet to engage in a sex with a 15-year-old girl

A Waterloo man has been arrested for allegedly arranging to meet a 15-year-old girl for sex.

Michael Kuehl, 32, was arrested Friday by Cedar Falls police as a part of an investigation they conducted along with the Iowa Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Kuehl is charged with attempted enticement of a minor, an aggravated misdemeanor that carries up to two years in prison and up to a $6,250 fine.

According to police, Kuehl arranged a meeting via the Internet to engage in a sex act with who he thought was a 15-year-old girl.
